    Pamela Kripke will present her story collection And Then You Apply Ice which features women and girls who encounter varying degrees of hurt - to their emotions, bodies and brains - and try to figure out how to move forward. The stories examine parenthood, love, divorce, infidelity, expectations, grief and mainly, the complex resilience that imbues the female experience. Pamela Kripke has written for The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Dallas Morning News, Slate, Salon, Elle, New York and The Huffington Post, among many other publications. Her short fiction has appeared in Folio, The MacGuffin, The Concrete Desert Review, The Barcelona Review, Brilliant Flash Fiction, Book of Matches, Meet Me At 19th, The Woven Tale Press, Underwired, Doubleback Review and Round Table Literary Journal. Her novel At the Seams was published by Open Books in 2023.
