Legendary musician, singer, songwriter, and son to the late Gregg Allman, Michael Allman, will pay tribute to his family’s long and illustrious legacy when he performs the best of the Allman Brothers during a special live performance after the Chestnut Hill Garden Festival on Sunday, May 5. The national recording artist will headline the Outdoor After Party & Concert at the Venetian Social Club of Chestnut Hill (located at 8030 Germantown Ave.) with local rockers Bloomer opening the show. Gates open at 4 PM. Tickets to the show are $20 and are available at the gate only (no online pre-sales).
During this exclusive event, Allman will play such classic Allman Brother’s songs as “Whipping Post,” “Blue Sky,” “Midnight Rider,” and more as well as a few of his own tracks including “It Ain’t Me,” “If Dreams Were Money,” “Laid Back,” and “Mule Named Whiskey.” He will be backed Philadelphia’s own Mile High Club band.
