Do you want to explore your creative side for the first time? Do you have a creative practice you want to share with others? Do you want to connect, heal and learn together in a safe space?

Fertile Grounds is a free community space where participants get to connect in a low-stakes environment over important themes in our lives through creative practices. Each month there will be a different theme and guest artist/facilitator who will lead participants in exploring this theme in their medium. Dance, mindfulness, music, poetry etc... we’ll let you know!

The event starts at 1:30pm with a free form exploration of the theme through doodling and conversation. Next, the guest artist will lead activities from 2pm to 3:30pm. Finally, we’ll have until 4:30pm to hangout and/or parallel work on any creative project/process you want. Participants are encouraged to share their own wants/needs around creativity, their practices, previous works, and bring up recent challenges/excitement.
