    Philly's BIGGEST Summer Block party returns on Sunday August 6th, 2017. Now in it's 9th year, the 2nd street festival closes down the streets of Northern Liberties (N. 2nd Street from Germantown to Spring Garden) for a day of summer fun!


    3 Stages playing LIVE music from some of Philly's BEST local talent, 8 beer gardens, and over 250+ craft, and food vendors.

    Art Star Pop-Up Market will be back again this year!

    Through direct support from sponsors and local businesses, The 2nd Street Festival aims to bring awareness to the Northern Liberties neighborhood and encourage a healthy and positive lifestyle. For a single day, the 2nd Street Festival brings neighbors and strangers together through live music, food, games, and the arts.

    FREE FOR ALL AGES, with plenty of activities to keep your children engaged, so bring the whole family!

    The festival is easily accessible from the Frankford El Spring Garden or Girard stops. Bus routes 5 and 15 typically route down 2nd Street and will be running an alternate routes through Northern Liberties the day of the festival.

    Parking for a fee is available at the lot just north of the Piazza off of Germantown Avenue. Biking and walking are advisable.

    There is a Indego bike share location at the north end of the fest at Germantown Ave.

    For GPS coordinating: the festival spans the 600-1100 blocks of N 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.

    WE ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO ORDER UBER/LIFT ON THE NORTH OR SOUTH BORDERS (GIRARD AVE OR SPRING GARDEN) TO KEEP IT SMOOTH.
