Guided walking tour, viewing the exterior of many architecturally significant structures located within a few blocks of The Fountain House, site of William Doyl’s second colonial roadhouse. Doylestown Bicentennial Mock Trial
Presented by Doylestown Historical Society at Bucks County Courthouse May 30, 2012 "Actors" from the Doylestown Bar Association will be recreating the murder trial of Dr. William Chapman in Court Room #1. Dr. Chapman died in 1831. His death was ruled a homicide and the accused person was hung amid much fanfare at a facility on Almshouse Road. This is a limited seating event. First come, first served.
