20th Annual Islamic Heritage Festival & Parade
Presented by ICPIC New Africa Center at Great Plaza at Penn's Landing June 9, 2012 The 20th Annual Islamic Heritage Festival & Parade weekend promises to be larger and more diverse than ever. The Islamic Heritage Festival is the largest Muslim festival in the country and is one of the largest multi-ethnic festival held at Penns landing each year. Over 5,000 people are expected to attend. This family friendly festival is free and open to public.
The weekend will begin Friday at 1 pm, with Salatul Jumah (the Muslim congregational prayer service)...

African American Images Trolley Tour
Presented by Mural Arts Program, City of Philadelphia at African American Museum in Philadelphia April 28-November 24, 2012 The Mural Arts Program presents a compilation of murals that capture the rich African American experience in Philadelphia. Composing Great Photos (Ages 8-10)
