Memorial Day Weekend Celebration
Presented by National Constitution Center at National Constitution Center May 26-May 28, 2012 This Memorial Day weekend, the National Constitution Center will celebrate the people and events of our nation’s past. The American flag will be raised each morning during a special ceremony at the Center. Guests are invited to join in this event to learn proper flag raising protocol.

20th Annual Islamic Heritage Festival & Parade

Bastille Day
Presented by Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site at Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site July 14, 2012 It's one of Philadelphia’s most popular summertime events! Eastern State Penitentiary teams with Philadelphia cabaret act The Bearded Ladies and local businesses for a playful reenactment of the Storming of the Bastille (influenced more by Monty Python than the French Revolution), followed by a French-themed street party. Teen Summer Arts Camp
Presented by Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts at Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts June 18-July 27, 2012 The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts hosts four music camps for teens. Choral/Vocal (June 18th-29th) Pipe Organ (July 1st-13th), Jazz (July 16th-27th )and Chamber Music (July 16th-27th).
Students study with world renowned teaching artists. All accepted students are given free tuition scholarships. Acceptance to the camp is gained by submitting a camp application with a $25 application fee, a written essay, and participating in an audition process.
