Presented by Fleisher Art Memorial at Fleisher Art Memorial July 9-July 13, 2012 This class is an intro to modern dance. It is not unusual for modern dancers to invent new steps for their routines, instead of following a structured code of technique, as in ballet. Therefore, students will learn basic modern dance steps and combinations as well as create their own steps. The final result will be a short dance to music incorporating all the steps learned and created.
