The Mural Arts Program presents a compilation of murals that capture the rich African American experience in Philadelphia. The murals honor significant figures including W.E.B. DuBois, the women of jazz, Jackie Robinson and Malcolm X, to name just a few. Presented by Pasión y Arte at Christ Church Neighborhood House March 22-April 1, 2012 Pasión y Arte, Philadelphia’s all-female flamenco dance company, will host the First Philadelphia Flamenco Festival. The festival features the work of Rosario Toledo, an internationally renowned Spanish dancer/choreographer, as well as film screenings, master classes, a symposium of expert panelists, and post-performance discussions and receptions.
