Love Letter Mural Tours
Presented by Mural Arts Program, City of Philadelphia at Love Park
A collaboration with internationally-renowned artist Stephen Powers, Love Letter is a series of over 50 rooftop murals and street-level signs in and around the Market Street corridor in West Philadelphia, spanning from 46th Street through 63rd Street created during the summer of 2009. On this weekly tour, take a ride on the El train accompanied by a Mural Arts Program tour guide to learn intimate details about the renowned Love Letter project and other murals along the way. Tour begins at LOVE Park Visitor Center at 16th Street and JFK Boulevard.

Visitors to Laurel Hill can now bring their cell phones and tune into an audio tour that highlights the oldest section of the Cemetery. The only cost associated with this tour is the minutes for your specific cell phone plan. An introductory exhibit, kiosk with maps, directions for dialing in, and the first stop are all located at the main entrance. You are invited to visit as many stops in whatever order you please to hear some of the stories of those now resting peacefully at the Cemetery.

Museum Without Walls: Audio

Museum Without Walls™: Audio is a new kind of interpretive program for Philadelphia’s public art. Each audio program is told by a variety of people from all walks of life who are connected to the sculpture by knowledge, experience or affiliation. Nearly 100 “voices” at 35 stops explore 51 sculptures along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Kelly Drive. Just use your cell phone to dial 215-399-9000 and the stop number located on the sign in front of the sculpture. You can also pick up a free Museum Without Walls™: Audio map from the Fairmount Park Welcome Center in Love Park or at any of the Parkway institutions.

This brand new attraction, a 360-degree, 3-D show designed by David Niles and produced by the Nile Creative Group, is unlike anything that has ever been seen before. Liberty 360 escorts the audience on a journey of discovery and exploration of America's most beloved symbols, led by Philadelphia favorite, Ben Franklin. The 15-minute, 3-D experience surrounds the audience in the new custom built state-of-the-art PECO Theater.
