Michele Gallagher: Recent Works
Presented by Twenty-Two Gallery at Twenty-Two Gallery May 11-June 3, 2012 Recent oil paintings by Michele Gallagher. “I choose to arrange a dramatic simplification of my subject. My painting employs an editing technique that commands the palette knife to sculpt away any unnecessary visual noise. As a representational artist, I strive for a minimalistic and powerful quality to my work. My intent is to extract the essence of the aesthetic with control, drama and confidence”
