Saturday Arabic and Arts Program
Presented by Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture January 28-June 2, 2012 Open to kindergartners through 8th graders, the Saturday Program focuses on Arabic instruction with reinforcement of the language through the arts. The first two hours is focused on the Arabic language , co-taught by two native speakers. They will divide the students into two groups, sometimes grouped by age and sometimes by Arabic skill level, depending on the activity.

The Obstacle Course through History - A National Trails Day Walk
Presented by Friends of Delaware Canal Locktender's House at Holiday Inn Express June 2, 2012 The Canal towpath from Morrisville to Bristol has many trail designations. It is a National Recreation Trail, a portion of the D (Delaware) & L (Lehigh) Trail that runs from Wilkes Barre to Bristol, and a part of the East Coast Greenway that will provide a trail system between Maine and Florida. There are high aspirations for this 10-mile stretch of Canal towpath, but there are significant obstacles to overcome before it becomes an easy-to-use trail.
