Mold Making

This four week class is for students that already have a working knowledge of ceramics and would like add to their bag of tricks, so to speak. Whether one is working with multiples or doing production work, mold making can be useful to sculptors and/or functional potters. Students will be taught how to work with plaster in order to learn basic mold making techniques for slip casting, hump molds and press molds. The materials fee includes 50lbs. Plaster, 50lbs. Clay, 2.5 gallons of slip, glazes, and firing.
