Patrick Neilson's recent work in oil and drafting is an exploration of Philadelphia and other moody imaginings. He works in oils and charcoal with subjects that range from the human figure to urban landscapes. His command of light and shadow is impressive, to the point of moving. He is currently a student at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
