Experience an old fashioned hayride through Bellevue State Park! Hayrides last approximately 50 minutes and are followed by an inviting one-hour campfire. Reserve a wagon for your preschool, family reunion, birthday party, scout group or just a crowd of friends! The fee for one wagon is $90. Skewers are provided at the campfire; you supply your own food and beverages. The capacity for one wagon is approximately 20 adults. Pennsylvania Master Naturalist 2012 Trainings

Presented by Pennsylvania Institute for Conservation Education

The volunteer training program Pennsylvania Master Naturalist is expanding its reach by partnering with three organizations across southeastern Pennsylvania. With training courses now in Philadelphia, Bucks and Chester counties, the Pennsylvania Master Naturalist program will prepare substantially more citizens to become volunteer leaders reaching out to their communities through conservation education, citizen science and stewardship. Pennsylvania Master Naturalist is a year-long volunteer leadership program with three key components: the initial volunteer training course, annual volunteer service, and continuing education in the natural sciences.

Currently housed at Gtown Radio Station, a 501 (c) (3), the hosts aim to embrace all communities and provide a protected environment to examine the similarities in our "differences". Coupled with community initiatives, Queer 2 The T, strives to merge what has been coined "gay" and "hetero-normative" into the unified category of humanity by addressing many topics with on-air interviews, outreach and reviews from local and global listenership. Queer 2 The T is more than a radio show; it is a safe space for queer identified, gay, lesbian, transgender, straight and straight allies to convene to discuss concerns and info-tainment.

Tree Adventure

Tree Adventure explores the relationship between plants and people with its central theme: we need trees, and trees need us. The iconic centerpiece of the exhibit is Out on a Limb, a dramatic new 450-foot long walkway that will soar 50 feet above the forest. Armed with a Passport to Adventure, visitors can also travel the expanse of the Arboretum’s 92-acre garden to learn the critical role trees play in our environment while having fun engaging with trees. The exhibit will be a fully accessible, fascinating learning experience for both children and adults.

Museum Without Walls: Audio

Museum Without Walls™: Audio is a new kind of interpretive program for Philadelphia’s public art. Each audio program is told by a variety of people from all walks of life who are connected to the sculpture by knowledge, experience or affiliation. Nearly 100 “voices” at 35 stops explore 51 sculptures along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Kelly Drive.
