Architectural Masterpieces Fairmount Park Trolley Tour
Presented by Philadelphia Museum of Art at Philadelphia Museum of Art June 17, 2012 Tour Mount Pleasant (1762-65), Lemon Hill (1800), and Memorial Hall ( the site of the U.S. Centennial in 1876). Departing from and returning to the Philadelphia Museum of Art's West Entrance, the tour provides transportation to several sites in Fairmount Park. Knowledgeable and engaging guides will bring the houses and the trolley ride alive with stories of the sites. Tour concludes with light refreshments. Includes admission to the three sites.

Call to Arms! Emergency Militia in Pennsylvania during the Gettysburg Campaign Exhibit
Presented by Pennypacker Mills at Pennypacker Mills May 15, 2012-May 1, 2013 These citizen soldiers were the first forces to defend Pennsylvania from the Confederate invasion in June of 1863, and were instrumental in preventing rebels from crossing the Susquehanna River, thus saving Harrisburg from capture.
