Presented by Valley Forge National Historical Park at Valley Forge National Historical Park February 19-February 20, 2012 George Washington was 46 years old before he ever partied on his birthday. And what a grand event it was (for those days), including being serenaded by his wife and Continental Army soldiers in the midst of their storied winter encampment at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania in 1778. This year, the party’s even bigger as Valley Forge National Historical Park continues the tradition during Presidents Day weekend, February 17 - 20.

2012 Valley Forge Revolutionary 5-mile Run
Presented by Valley Forge Convention and Visitors Bureau at Valley Forge National Historical Park April 22, 2012 Run this challenging five-mile certified course through scenic Valley Forge National Historical Park.
Or walk three miles to and from the National Memorial Arch. A one-mile youth fun run wraps up this fifth annual event. Refreshments, health/exercise exhibits, park/visitor information and running clubs will be represented at the family expo.
All proceeds benefit park preservation initiatives.
