Cross-Country Ski Clinic
Presented by Montgomery County Department of Parks and Heritage Services at Lorimer Park February 26, 2012 This program is a "go", even without snow! Learn about ski technique, equipment, clubs you can join, and places you can ski. On snow instruction is available if conditions permit. Bring your own skis. Pre-registration is required. Ski rentals are available at Buckman's. Popular boot sizes go quickly! For adults and kids 10+ or younger, if they have skis.

2012 Valley Forge Revolutionary 5-mile Run
Presented by Valley Forge Convention and Visitors Bureau at Valley Forge National Historical Park April 22, 2012 Run this challenging five-mile certified course through scenic Valley Forge National Historical Park.
Or walk three miles to and from the National Memorial Arch. A one-mile youth fun run wraps up this fifth annual event. Refreshments, health/exercise exhibits, park/visitor information and running clubs will be represented at the family expo.
All proceeds benefit park preservation initiatives.
