Moore College of Art & Design prepares students for lifelong learning and leadership in fine arts, design arts, art history, and art education. As a College founded for women in 1848, Moore continues to advance the role of women in the visual arts and to ensure their success by bridging the worlds of education and work. As a leader in the arts and cultural communities, Moore promotes the visual arts through distinctive education and gallery programs.  Galleries open to the public.

    Access Information: Three weeks notice required for special tours, accessible seating and interpreted events. Call ahead for detailed access information.

    Blind/VI Access: Large print texts are available depending on the exhibition. A live audio describer can be provided depending on the exhibition - call ahead for more information.

    Deaf/Hearing Access: Sign language interpretation for tours or lectures is available upon advance request.

    Wheelchair Access: Galleries, kitchen and dining areas offer good circulation, clear paths of travel and accessible seating. The auditorium is accessible and offers wheelchair seating locations and several seats with adjustable arms.

    There is a ramped entrance to the Paley Gallery/college which will provide access to wheelchair users and individuals with mobility impairments.

      Kate Stewart & Ward Davenny: Civil Dusk Moore College of Art & Design Kate Stewart & Ward Davenny: Civil Dusk Presented by Moore College of Art & Design at Moore College of Art & Design May 18-August 18, 2012 Civil Dusk, a new, large-scale, collaborative “smoke drawing” by artists Kate Stewart and Ward Davenny, conflates the physical and performative aspects of drawing with the uncanny beauty of the apocalyptic sublime.
