The Wanamaker Building

The Wanamaker Buildinghas an Italian Renaissance design, built around a ''Great Court''. It houses wne of the world's largest organs is in the building, with recitals given three times daily. Also, the seventh floor holds an art gallery displaying paintings from several of the major European schools of art. There are also ''objets d'art'' placed throughout the store.

      Wanamaker Grand Court Organ - Free Daily Recitals The Wanamaker Building Wanamaker Grand Court Organ - Free Daily Recitals Presented by Friends of the Wanamaker Organ at The Wanamaker Building January 9-December 31, 2012 Free daily recitals on the Wanamaker Grand Court Organ — the world's largest pipe organ — are held throughout the year. Visitors are welcome to meet the staff and volunteers at the console after each 45-minute recital.

Rick Seifert hosts in ornate Greek Hall on the 3rd floor. 10:30 am: A free group tour of select Organ Chambers and the Restoration Training Facility will leave promptly from the Eagle in the Grand Court.
