Elfreth's Alley

Take a stroll down America's oldest continously occupied residential street and a National Historic Landmark. The breathtaking streetscape of 33 Colonial and French-Style homes was once occupied by artisans, including blacksmith Jeremiah Elfreth. Two homes are open to the public for guided tours highlighting the alley's 300-year history and 18th-century life.

      Fete Day Open House Elfreth's Alley Fete Day Open House Presented by Elfreth's Alley Association at Elfreth's Alley June 9, 2012 Fete Day has been a June tradition on Elfreth's Alley for over 75 years. Elfreth's neighbors generously open their homes for tours amidst a host of attractions. This event, often featuring music, barbecue, games, book signings, colonial crafts, and demonstrations, is a rare treat and not to be missed!
