    The Design Center (TDC) at Philadelphia University is an emerging leader in the presentation of contemporary design and related issues. Through exhibitions, symposia, educational tours, lectures and special programming, TDC is paving the way for understanding the things that surround us and their impact on our daily lives. TDC's collection of textiles dates back to the 4th century A.D. and includes Pre-Columbian fragments, 15th century church garments, 20th-century couture clothing and over 50,000 industrial swatches from Philadelphia's fashion production hey-day.
