Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts

The DCCA at 35,000 square feet, is home to seven galleries, 26 artists' studios, gift shop, high-tech auditorium, and a classroom. On the rejuvenated Wilmington Riverfront, we present over thirty exhibitions annually of regionally, nationally and internationally recognized artists.

    Access Information: There is construction around the DCCA building. Accessible parking is limited. Please call for more information.

    The DCCA has several interesting accessible programs. Contemporary Connections is a model program that integrates artists and works of art into the public school core curriculum. The DCCA also runs an Artist in Residency program, which enables artists to create a new work through collaboration with underserved community groups. Please call for more information regarding these unique arts opportunities.

    Blind/VI Access: Large print materials are available at the front desk. Touch tours are available on a limited basis for specific exhibits. Please call for more information.

    Wheelchair Access: A wheelchair accessible entrance is located at the front. All seating is wheelchair accessible; advance notice is only required with larger groups.
