Fairmount Park - Carousel House

Carousel House is dedicated to providing socialization, recreational and educational services to persons with disabilities from throughout the City of Philadelphia. It is the first of its kind in the United States sponsored by a municipality. The year-round program is conducted within a 6.4 acre indoor and outdoor complex that includes basketball and tennis courts, picnic area, an accessible garden, an accessible playground and a fitness trail. The state-of-the-art, air-conditioned, indoor facility includes an auditorium, gymnasium, exercise room with weight equipment, arts and crafts room, fully equipped kitchen, game room, first aid station and swimming pool with an adjustable floor.
