People's Light and Theatre Company - Main Stage

The People’s Light and Theatre Company is a non-profit, professional theater situated in the heart of Chester County. People’s Light produces 8 shows per season with a mix of classics, contemporary works and a Target Family Discovery series for young audiences.

The Main Stage is part of a beautifully restored 18th-century barn. The two-story lobby has an elevator, an automatic door entrance for wheelchairs and a permanent espresso/cappuccino snack bar. The Main Stage theatre has three sections (center, right, and left), is fifteen rows deep and has 350 seats. The theatre has no obstructed views, and no seat is more than 60 feet from the stage. Seating in the Main Stage is assigned.

      Beautiful Boy - Community Matters People's Light and Theatre Company - Main Stage Beautiful Boy - Community Matters Presented by People's Light and Theatre Company at People's Light and Theatre Company - Main Stage May 30-June 24, 2012 This first play by actor/director Pete Pryor earned him an Independence Fellowship. At around 18 months of age, Pete’s son was diagnosed with ASD, Autism Spectrum Disorder. This two-person impressionistic piece follows a family on its journey from the fearful time of diagnosis to finding an approach and a home program. Scenes of a father dealing with work, travel, and a myriad of therapeutic approaches are inter cut with glimpses of his family’s life and a look at the community...
