    McGillin's Olde Ale House

    Comment on Facebook

For a century and a half, McGillin's Olde Ale House has been serving thirsty and hungry Philadelphians. In the old days ''PA'' McGillin would climb down into his cool cellar to fetch refreshing ale for his guests. Today they serve guests from a state of the art tap system right at the bar. The methods have changed, but their commitment is the same: fresh, cool beer, tasty food and above all, friendly service. Step back into time and enjoy the oldest and most famous tavern in Philadelphia. Few businesses can claim to have survived the Civil War, two World Wars, the Depression and Prohibition!
