Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library

The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, which opened in 1966, serves as the public library for Bristol Borough and the surrounding community. It recently underwent a comprehensive interior makeover, and was rededicated on June 5, 2005. The Library's energetic staff serves a patron base of over 20,000 members. It maintains a collection of 86,000+ items and affords "lovers of learning" the best in print and electronic mediums. The Library offers picturesque views of the Delaware River, is open six days a week, and in serving as a Borough gathering place offers programs for babies, preschoolers, children, teens, adults, and seniors.

Grundy Memorial Library at Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library May 16-May 30, 2013 The Trustees of the Grundy Foundation will honor Harold and Carol Mitchener for their fifteen years of dedicated volunteer service with a reception and exhibit. The exhibit, Behind the Scenes of the Grundy Library Archive, will feature fascinating artifacts from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries which are part of the Library collection.
