Warwick Township Municipal Building
Since most of the settlers in the area were Scotch and Irish, historians puzzle over the naming of the township as Warwick, a town located in central Great Britain. The Neshaminy Presbyterian Church, one of the oldest in Pennsylvania, dates to 1726. George Washington "did" sleep here, at the Moland House, near the intersection of Old York and Bristol Roads. Here he joined forces with Lafayette and Pulaski prior to the Battle of Brandywine.
