    Access Information: Winterthur staff receive disability awareness training and are equipped to answer questions.

    Blind/VI Access: Large print information for selected exhibition materials is available upon request. Please call ahead to make arrangements.

    Deaf/Hearing Access: ASL interpretation is available upon request with one week´s notice. Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) are available upon request. Comtek portable systems are available for tours and a Telex system for the Galleries Theatre.

    Wheelchair Access: Wheelchairs are available at the Visitor Center, the Galleries Reception area and the Museum Store.

      The Flowering of American Tinware Winterthur Museum and Country Estate The Flowering of American Tinware Presented by Winterthur Museum and Country Estate at Winterthur Museum and Country Estate May 18, 2013-May 4, 2014 This pocket-size exhibition highlights the collection of decorated tinware that Henry Francis du Pont acquired from antiques dealers in New England and Pennsylvania, particularly from Ephrata, Lancaster, Carlisle, and York. These beautiful, hand-painted objects feature decorative techniques that have been in use from the early 1700s to today, and include cups, coffee pots, toys, and household items, brightly colored and hand painted with fruit, flowers, birds, and borders.
