    Access Information: Winterthur staff receive disability awareness training and are equipped to answer questions.

    Blind/VI Access: Large print information for selected exhibition materials is available upon request. Please call ahead to make arrangements.

    Deaf/Hearing Access: ASL interpretation is available upon request with one week´s notice. Assistive Listening Devices (ALD) are available upon request. Comtek portable systems are available for tours and a Telex system for the Galleries Theatre.

    Wheelchair Access: Wheelchairs are available at the Visitor Center, the Galleries Reception area and the Museum Store.

Wine, Objects and Tradition Presented by Winterthur Museum and Country Estate at Winterthur Museum and Country Estate April 28, 2012-January 6, 2013 Join us in celebrating this delightful beverage with a new exhibition created to explore the stunning range of objects associated with the history of wine drinking, especially in Britain and America. The exhibition will share some of the fascinating and incredibly broad range of wine-related materials—from wineglasses and cellarets to song sheets and paintings—and, in total, will include more than 300 objects.

Fairy princesses, enchanted woodsmen, and all magical beings are invited to run, skip, and play while enjoying a full day of festivities. The Celtic tunes of roving musicians will fill the air as a magician demonstrates his sleight of hand. Kids can make magic wands and magnificent mice at our arts and crafts table and enjoy delicious ice cream from Woodside Farm Creamery!
