Washington Crossing Historic Park

At Washington Crossing Historic Park, George Washington led his ragged troops across the ice-choked Delaware and assaulted the unsuspecting Hessians at Trenton. His victory bolstered sagging morale, changing the course of the American Revolution. The 500-acre site and recreational area includes 13 historic buildings, the noted 100-acre Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve and observation tower, and many picnic areas.

      Memorial Day Observance Washington Crossing Historic Park Memorial Day Observance Presented by Friends of Washington Crossing Park at Washington Crossing Historic Park May 27, 2013 Please join us in honoring the fallen soldiers of the 1776 Winter Campaign at the Revolutionary War Soldiers’ Gravesite behind the Thompson Neely House (located about two miles south of New Hope at the intersection of River and Aquetong Roads). A procession will lead visitors to the Gravesite where commemorative speeches and a musket salute will precede the lowering of the flag to half staff.
