 For 30 years, the Center for the Creative Arts has been a community art center devoted to art enrichment through education for people of all ages and abilities. The Center's engaging and exciting programming reflects community needs and supplements that provided by schools and other institutions. We make every effort to collaborate with other cultural organizations, schools, and local businesses to serve as a catalyst for accomplishing common community goals. Our vision is to further our mission of helping people "Find the Artist Within". We believe that the arts are essential for child development and academic success and for enriching our culture as a whole.

Jennifer Domal, Instructor Make functional or sculptural objects with earthenware clay. Approximately half of the camp time is spent on the potters wheel. Working with a professional potter, you will explore the unique qualities of clay that make it so much fun to manipulate. All projects will be fired in the kiln and need to be picked up at a later date.

Jennifer Domal, Instructor Create huge habitats inspired by animal homes like bird nests or bee hives, "pods" for our human size bodies to fit into. These will be large scale sculptures that will enhance the CCArts landscape and make a fun escape for campers throughout the summer.

Enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres while looking at the selected artwork. At 7:30 pm, Victoria will begin drawing cards at random, and ticket holders will have one minute to choose one artwork to take home. A few exceptional items will be live auctioned. Special guest sculptor Stan Smokler will speak about his work. Proceeds benefit Center for the Creative Arts’ programs and summer arts camp scholarships for children.
      11/09/12- 11/11/12	Annual Artisans Show The Center for the Creative Arts Annual Artisans Show Presented by Center for the Creative Arts at The Center for the Creative Arts November 9-November 11, 2012 A fine craft show featuring 50 regional artisans with original work in photography, prints, fibers, folk art, ceramics, glass, fine wood, fine metal, mixed media, jewelry, sculpture and more. A preview party and wine tasting will be held Friday, November 9th, from 6-8:30 pm. Show admission is good for the whole weekend. Homemade lunch items will be for sale and there will be an art basket raffle. Free parking.

Discover the important role of composition and lighting in good photographs. Do some basic digital photo-retoucing and manipulation as well. Please bring your own camera and clean memory card. Enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres while looking at the selected artwork. At 7:30 pm, Victoria will begin drawing cards at random, and ticket holders will have one minute to choose one artwork to take home. A few exceptional items will be live auctioned. Special guest sculptor Stan Smokler will speak about his work. Proceeds benefit Center for the Creative Arts’ programs and summer arts camp scholarships for children.
    11/09/12- 11/11/12	Annual Artisans Show The Center for the Creative Arts Annual Artisans Show Presented by Center for the Creative Arts at The Center for the Creative Arts November 9-November 11, 2012 A fine craft show featuring 50 regional artisans with original work in photography, prints, fibers, folk art, ceramics, glass, fine wood, fine metal, mixed media, jewelry, sculpture and more. A preview party and wine tasting will be held Friday, November 9th, from 6-8:30 pm. Show admission is good for the whole weekend. Homemade lunch items will be for sale and there will be an art basket raffle. Free parking.
