Pearl S. Buck House
Beloved author Pearl S. Buck was the first American woman to win the Nobel Prize for literature. More than a great writer, she was a teacher, translator, civil rights pioneer, art lover and accomplished gardener. See the 60-acre homestead where she pursued these diverse passions. The 1835 farmhouse in which she lived is an excellent example of Pennsylvania architecture of the period.
