Vincent van Gogh was an artist of exceptional intensity, not only in his use of color and exuberant application of paint, but also in his personal life. Drawn powerfully to nature, his works—particularly those created in the years just before he took his own life—engage the viewer with the strength of his emotions. This exhibition focuses on these tumultuous years, a period of feverish artistic experimentation that began when van Gogh left Antwerp for Paris in 1886 and continued until his death in Auvers in 1890.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is the only venue in the United States to see the major Van Gogh exhibition. Buy your tickets today!

The universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness. F. Harold is the only comedy festival with a lineup comprised exclusively of Philadelphia’s own performers. Last year, over a dozen stand-ups, several sketch groups, and nearly 40 improvisational troupes totaled nearly 200 performers to hit the stage. This year producers are hoping to exceed those numbers at an event which promises to deliver high-energy shows at affordable prices in the oldest theater in America.

A six-night event organized by Rick Horner, F. Harold continues to foster an atmosphere of creativity and collaboration in the comedy community.
