This is the best professional art show in the area. It draws wonderful local and regional artists and the price point for originals, prints and signed prints is great -- there's something for every taste and budget, even in this economy. On Friday, there is wonderful live music playing while you walk around, sample hors d'oeuvres, mingle with the artists and pick out your must have piece. Saturday has a more laid back feeling and there still is live music and you can mingle with the artists. This show has a rich history because it was started by Andrew Wyeth's wife Betsy when their son Jamie was a student at Chadds Ford. This year there are signed Wyeth pieces included in the raffle items! For a great time and a wonderful taste of spring, don't miss the Art Show! Collapse

I have been to many reenactments and expected this to be just another one. What could we expect from something done locally? We were taken by the atmosphere and scope of the encampment and battles. I counted 75 men on horseback! Everything was authentic, the reenactors are friendly and want you to to understand every aspect of their activities. It is a great experience. I have photographs that when printed in black and white look like the real historic thing. Collapse

I went to see this show 3 years ago and it was a memorable experience for myself and my date. I had seen a few of Polly's monologues in the past at various events and was always stuck by her insights, honesty and performance. The show has that and a lot more. The irish/celtic music and song is a nice touch and very beutiful if you are a fan of this genre. My date was latino and didn't really know anything about St. Patrick's Day and didn't really care but was moved by the peices and really enjoyed the International (French) flare. It was a great first date and we still talk about it. I highly reccommend this show to any one interested in theater, one-woman shows, Irish Music or an enjoyable distraction to the end of winter blues! Collapse

This is Gilbert & Sullivan as it was meant to be! Professional quality leads, a fine and lively chorus, an intimate venue where you can see every nuance of facial expression, and hear everyone without need of amplification. The accompaniment of piano, flute, and hand-bells adds dimension to this neat little show. If you are unfamiliar with G&S and their topsy-turvy world, this production will make you an avid fan. If you're a G&S freak and have seen 'em all, go and see this one for it's unique way of presenting one of their lesser known works. Collapse
