I will be attending my third lesson tonight and cannot wait. Gwen, the instructor, is awesome. The dances are fun to learn and perform, and the work-out is great.

Somebody showed me this review as a joke, since my opinion of Howells's church music is no secret. I detest most of it and am certainly not inspired by it, whatever (dismaying)similarity the reviewer perceives. Some of Howells's orchestral and chamber music is a good deal more interesting but I find his choral writing intolerably lazy. Collapse

I have been to many reenactments and expected this to be just another one. What could we expect from something done locally? We were taken by the atmosphere and scope of the encampment and battles. I counted 75 men on horseback! Everything was authentic, the reenactors are friendly and want you to to understand every aspect of their activities. It is a great experience. I have photographs that when printed in black and white look like the real historic thing. Collapse
