As a Temple University student I really loved this play. I thought it was interesting and intriguing, although a little heartbreaking. The monologues were taken from real life interviews of people in North Philly, so SHOT was mainly a true story, one everybody should see. Collapse

These people should be ashamed for calling this professional...along with charging people to see it - I should have been paid to sit through that nightmare. Lets talk about the accents for a moment. Never in my life have I heard such nails-on-a-chalkboard dialect...*shudders*...there was so much overacting it became laughable in parts! They dragged every ounce out of the script, that the message was completely lost in the mundane deliverance of lines. SAVE YOUR MONEY - GO SEE A REAL SHOW!!! Collapse

I loved "The Sound of Music" as a kid. Combine the original movie music with first rate modern/hip-hop dance, along with a multicultural transgendered Von Trapp family and the result is a highly entertaining evening well worth the price of admission. There is even a brief sing-along portion of the performance. Doug Elkins' choreography is always interesting, and it's clear he has a great fondness for the original "Sound of Music". His interpretation is great fun and showcases the amazing talents of his dance troupe. If you enjoy dance at the Fringe Festival, you'll definitely come away happy from "Fraulein Maria"> Collapse

Having seen the Croyden show on 12th November, 2009, the show was let down by a unscheduled interval due to some equipment not working and the poor lead vocal sound. This led to honest heckling from the audiance and sadly no apology from the band. Having seen the band before, this was hadly professional. Collapse
