Spring classes begin Saturday, February 11, 2012 and run through April 21, 2012.     01/28/12- 03/17/12	Materiality: Annual Alumnae Exhibition at Moore Moore College of Art & Design Materiality: Annual Alumnae Exhibition at Moore Presented by Moore College of Art & Design at Moore College of Art & Design January 28-March 17, 2012 Juried exhibition featuring original fabric yardage designs, as well as a curated selection of fashion designs. Celebrating the works of graduates of all majors, focusing on textile and fashion design, this show is held in conjunction with FiberPhiladelphia.
    01/28/12- 03/17/12	Shizuko Kimura: The Poetics of Form Moore College of Art & Design Shizuko Kimura: The Poetics of Form Presented by Moore College of Art & Design at Moore College of Art & Design January 28-March 17, 2012 Working directly from live models, Japanese artist Shizuko Kimura creates intricately rendered figure drawings that fuse Asian aesthetics with Western concepts of figurative art and abstraction. In allegiance to the performative elements of drawing, her intimate works demonstrate the stitched mark’s ability to record subtle gesture and capture the essential vitality of the human body through a reductive use of line and texture.
