Kennett Symphony of Chester County

The only professional orchestra in Chester County with a full season of diverse and entertaining programs. A free children's concert in March with instrument petting zoo. Summer concerts are performed at Longwood Gardens, with a concert ticket including admission to the Gardens for the full day. For more information, visit their website.

Presented by Kennett Symphony of Chester County at Longwood Gardens June 23, 2012 A tribute to the great Spanish writer and poet Garcia Lorca by Mexican composer Silvestre Revueltas, Rodrigo’s beloved guitar concerto, and Manuel de Falla’s “Love, the Magician” with the fiery talents of Marija Temo and flamenco dancer Ulrika Frank—all under the stars. Olé!

    Water Music: Titanic 100 Years Longwood Gardens Water Music: Titanic 100 Years Presented by Kennett Symphony of Chester County at Longwood Gardens August 18, 2012 Celebrate music inspired by water: Handel’s Suite on the River Thames, a trip to the Blue Danube, Richard Rodgers’ WWII classic and the grand music from the blockbuster film Titanic. Our voyage ends with Longwood Gardens’ spectacular Fountain Show.
