Located at 6th and Market Streets, the Independence Visitor Center is located on Independence Mall, across from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. The Visitor Center provides the millions of visitors who travel to Philadelphia with a free, comprehensive orientation to the culture, history, shopping and dining options available throughout the Greater Philadelphia region in an environment that is welcoming and convenient for travelers. The Visitor Center is also the location to pick-up your free timed-ticket to tour Independence Hall.

    05/26/12- 09/01/12	Breakfast with Ben Independence Visitor Center Breakfast with Ben Presented by Independence Visitor Center at Independence Visitor Center May 26-September 1, 2012 You're invited to an interactive breakfast and discussion with one of our nation's most influential founding fathers, Ben Franklin. Adults and children alike are able to chat with Ben Franklin, ask questions about his life and work and even pose for pictures. A delicious breakfast is served to Dr. Franklin's guests.     05/01/12- 05/31/12	Senior Art Exhibit at Independence Visitors Center Independence Visitor Center Senior Art Exhibit at Independence Visitors Center Presented by Independence Visitor Center at Independence Visitor Center May 1-May 31, 2012 One of the four Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) exhibits to showcase the achievements and creativity of older artists. The public is invited to view the art. The exhibit will be on display for the entire month of May. Gallery hours: Everyday 8:30am - 7:00pm
    11/01/11- Ongoing	Audio Walk Tour Independence Visitor Center Audio Walk Tour Presented by Independence Visitor Center at Independence Visitor Center November 1, 2011 - Ongoing Hear the spirit of history come alive with a 74-minute narration, self-guided and leisurely walking tour of historic Philadelphia. This easily navigated audio tour is available for rent at the Independence Visitor Center. The tour includes a lightweight CD player and a detailed map that includes 20 important historic sites and 64 narrated segments.
