Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers are the founders of the CHI Movement Arts Center, a place of learning, exploration, and growth for diverse people representing diverse perspectives. The center creates experiences of dance as art and of other body-mind modalities (including yoga, tai chi, pilates, and martial arts). Through artistic, educational, and outreach programs, Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers enhance the diversity and vitality of the Italian Market District of South Philadelphia and are committed to contributing to the rich cultural life of broader Philadelphia.

    Kids' Creative Movement CHI Movement Arts Center Kids' Creative Movement Presented by Kun Yang Lin/Dancers at CHI Movement Arts Center January 23, 2012 - Ongoing Movement concepts will be explored in a group setting for the first time. Children will have the opportunity to explore and develop their imaginations through dance exercises that promote freedom of expression as well as balance and coordination. There will be a mix of ballet, modern, improvisation, floor and across-the-room exercises, as well as props and costumes. Marcie Mamura is an artist, educator, and collaborator. Most classes are designed for intermediate/advanced dancers, but all levels of movers are welcome to come and dance!

Opportunity. Community. The InHale Performance Series is a community initiative, presented by Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers, to help established and emerging movement artists perform their work. Selected artists receive free performance space, technical assistance, and audience feedback. Previous performances have sold out! Performances include dance, spoken word, music, video, and more!
