Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture

Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture is a non-profit arts organization based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that is dedicated to exposing children and youth to the language and culture of the Arab world and to promoting understanding and respect both within the diverse community of Arab-Americans and among children and youth of all ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds.

    Saturday Arabic and Arts Program Saturday Arabic and Arts Program Presented by Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture January 28-June 2, 2012 Open to kindergartners through 8th graders, the Saturday Program focuses on Arabic instruction with reinforcement of the language through the arts.  The first two hours is focused on the Arabic language , co-taught by two native speakers. They will divide the students into two groups, sometimes grouped by age and sometimes by Arabic skill level, depending on the activity.

    Al-Bustan Camp - High School Program Al-Bustan Camp - High School Program Presented by Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture July 9-July 27, 2012 Al-Bustan Camp gives high school students an opportunity to participate in a highly engaging full-day program that includes video production, art, poetry, music, and Arabic language instruction. Teenagers gain artistic skills and explore aspects of their culture and identity through various media. The teen program is a 3-week commitment.
