Darlington Arts Center is a non-profit community arts center with classes, lessons and workshops in music, art, dance, drama and fitness for all ages, serving over 4,000 students per year. The Center's annual programming includes a Coffee House Series, monthly art exhibitions, faculty recitals, master classes, outreach programs, and special events. By embracing the visual and performing arts, Darlington makes it possible to enroll more than one family member at the same time and place for classes or lessons in a variety disciplines.

Projects will include metal and leather wrist bands, hammered copper pendants and personalized stamped message jewelry. Techniques covered will include stamping, forging, beading, wire wrapping and metal patinas. Tuition includes $40 material fee which covers all copper, bronze and sterling silver used in class. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. Regular participation in SilverSneakers can help build muscular strength, improve joint mobility and increase cardiovascular endurance, leading to improved health and greater independence.
