    The School of Dance prepares its students for careers as professional performers, dance educators and choreographers, and provides an environment in which they may develop an individual artistic vision. It also educates dancers to be thoughtful, well-rounded artists and individuals. In the first two years, all students build a foundation of skills in ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance. Each student then chooses one of four majors: ballet, jazz/theater dance, modern dance, or dance education.
