    CCHS is a not-for-profit educational institution whose mission is to promote an understanding of the history of Chester County and southeastern Pennsylvania by collecting, preserving, exhibiting and interpreting that history and its relationship to the region and nation beyond, to audiences of all ages and interests. The History Center of the CCHS is a vibrant place where people may encounter, explore and learn about the past. With diverse audiences and Chester County's unique heritage at its core, CCHS is an educational leader in the history community of the Delaware Valley.
