    Applied Mechanics

    Comment on Facebook

Applied mechanics examines the response of bodies or systems of bodies to external forces. Some examples of mechanical systems include the flow of a liquid under pressure, the fracture of a solid from an applied force, or the vibration of an ear in response to sound. The group’s work is characterized by immersive sets, parallel narrative structures (with many scenes happening simultaneously, and the audience free to wander and watch how they want), and the incorporation of food, drink, and other intimate sensory experiences. Their process is collaborative, democratic, and based on a commitment to organizational and artistic innovation.
