    The Center for Autism is the oldest specialized autism treatment center in the nation. Founded by Bertram A. Ruttenberg, M.D. in 1955, the Center is a private nonprofit organization that focuses on providing evaluation and treatment services to children and families. The Center serves over 500 individuals each year at two locations in Philadelphia.
