The goal of BalletFleming is to inspire, engage, entertain and educate the public through the works of its Artistic Director, Christopher Fleming. Established in 2010, the company is guided by this purpose in its performances, teaching, outreach activities and commitment to the community. In creating works by choreographer, writer and director Christopher Fleming, they will explore innovative approaches to neo-classical ballet, storytelling, and symphonic expositions. By drawing upon the emotional and artistic aspirations of movement, music and drama to bring that to life, they produce dance that is visually striking, innately musical and inherent to the human condition and our deepest of realms of expression. Mr. Fleming has served as Artistic Director for several companies around the world. Though his choreography has taken him around the world, Mr. Fleming is now building a home in Philadelphia, where he has been choreographing, producing and presenting for ten years. The goal of the newly formed BalletFleming is to inspire, engage, entertain and educate the public.
