Philadelphia Theatre Workshop is dedicated to nurturing theatre artists at various stages of their careers and to presenting a broad spectrum of artistic voices. We are also dedicated to nurturing theatre audiences by introducing them to artists, productions, and subject matter they would not see at other Philadelphia venues. Philadelphia Theatre Workshop is dedicated to presenting a broad spectrum of artistic voices producing plays and other theatrical performances by local and national playwrights that are not currently presented in Philadelphia. We seek to work with well written and compelling scripts and talented theatre artists who have been otherwise unrecognized in the Philadelphia area. Our productions represent the diversity of sexual and gender identities concerning modern urban men and women, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender adults and youth and other marginalized people.
