    06/02/13	Orienteering for All Ages Norristown Farm Park Orienteering for All Ages Presented by Montgomery County Department of Parks and Heritage Services and Delaware Valley Orienteering Association at Norristown Farm Park June 2, 2013 Join the exciting international sport of orienteering. It is not as much about using a compass as it is about reading a detailed map to find your way. An instructor from the Delaware Valley Orienteering Association will give a 40 minute lesson. After instruction you will be 'let loose' on the beginner course. Most people will finish by 12:00 pm. Pre-registration is required. Meet at the pavilions (lot #3).
    06/02/13	Early Bird Walk Norristown Farm Park Early Bird Walk Presented by Montgomery County Department of Parks and Heritage Services at Norristown Farm Park June 2, 2013 Join us in a search for late migrant birds. Late May and very early June mark the end of the season of passage. Expect to see flycatchers, vireos, and breeding warblers. Bring binoculars if you have them. Ages: adults with or without children (minimum age 7 years). Pre-registration is required. Meet in parking lot #2. Barbara is the leader.
    06/09/13	Creek Critters Lorimer Park Creek Critters Presented by Montgomery County Department of Parks and Heritage Services at Lorimer Park June 9, 2013 Come and explore Harper's Run and the Pennypack Creek. What species of fish and aquatic insects live here? We will search the two streams to find out by turning over a lot of rocks. Everything will be released unharmed, naturally! Prepare to get quite wet! Wear sturdy water shoes or old sneakers w/o socks. No flip-flops or rainboots, please! Pre-registration is required. Meet in the parking lot on Moredon Rd. Ages: adults with or without children (minimum age 5 years).
